Hi! I’m Lori Cartmell, the proprietress of The Faith Cafe. I’m the chief blogger, barista, baker and bottle-washer of this establishment. Thank you for visiting!

About the blog:

I launched The Faith Cafe blog in November of 2019 as a way to share my Christian faith in an accessible and relatable way. I want cafe to be a warm, inviting place you can visit regularly and feel right at home, just like your favourite bricks-and-mortar cafe.

My passion is to help others see that God’s love and mercy are ever-present and all around us. I believe that we can find parallels in our everyday lives of how God works, and I look forward to exploring some of them with you.

My hope is to establish a friendly, encouraging community at the cafe where we can learn more about God and his love for us, specifically through his son Jesus.

Please visit the “Welcome” page on the menu bar to give you a flavour of what this blog is all about.

About me:

I was born on Canada’s West Coast, but grew up in Toronto, where I still live. My hobbies include baking, nature photography, gardening and restoring old furniture.

I attend Agincourt Pentecostal Church in northeastern Toronto. I hope you’ll visit their site, where you can download messages from our pastors, check out the upcoming events, or leave a prayer request on the prayer wall.

I’d love it if you signed up to follow this blog: the sign-up box is at very bottom of each page and post.

Why don’t you check out the “About God” page in the next menu? It’s much more interesting!
