Welcome to The Faith Cafe! I’m so glad you stopped by!

Let’s find a table so we can sit together. How about the one by window overlooking the park? (This is a virtual cafe, so you’ll have to use your imagination. Plus supply your own coffee!)

Grab one of the comfy armchairs, before the cafe cat claims it (you know how hard it is to dislodge her once she’s settled).

All we need now is some hot coffee and a dessert. Maybe a brownie? Or would you rather have some cake? Let’s pick something freshly baked from the cafe’s dessert showcase.

Ready? Got your coffee? Good. Now we can relax together and chat.

At The Faith Cafe we’ll be discussing, you guessed it, faith. Specifically, faith in God through Jesus Christ. On this blog we’ll explore the myriad ways in which we can learn about God and His love for us, oftentimes through examples from the world around us.

I believe that just about everything around us, no matter how small, can teach us something that can deepen our faith. I like how Ralph Waldo Emerson put it: “Every natural fact is a symbol of some spiritual fact.”

Very true! So at The Faith Cafe we’ll talk about these “natural facts” that will help us grow in our relationship with God. We’ll cover topics like Christian living, the Bible, nature and gardening, baking, etc. Some of the posts might be serious, others will be more light-hearted. We might even throw in a few dessert recipes (it wouldn’t be a proper cafe without some desserts, would it?). We’re less likely to discuss topics like politics, sports, or controversial issues.

But no matter what the topic, we’ll always relate it back to God and our relationship with Him. I invite you to come by the cafe regularly and “sit with me” as we support each other, learn about God and grow in our Christian faith.

Hope you’ll drop by and visit The Faith Cafe again to see what’s brewing.

We’re always open!
